Normally the first of anything you do is pretty awkward… hmmm let’s think…
- First kiss is pretty obvious
- First job!
- Walking into your first college class, or high school class, or junior high class- funny how it doesn’t get less awkward with each big grade change?
- As you get older and older you can certainly name a few more pretty awkward moments…
Well, despite the awkwardness, here is the first post. I think a blog geared to girls in college is a great idea. I have found that my little sis, now in her first year of college, has found that I can be more helpful than she probably thought to be true… which is giving me great practice for 17 years down the road when my little girl enters college. We have gotten together a few times since school started a few weeks ago and I have given her the “Big Sis Intervention” (the dorky name I call it) and it has actually proven really helpful, so I will share my ideas and thoughts with everyone else too. I promised her she isn’t the only one feeling the way she is, so hopefully I am right and there are more K’s of the world.
Since attention spans are pretty short these days, especially mine, things won’t be lengthy.
If you are reading this and you are in school- go buy a monthly calendar about the size of a sheet of paper and not much thicker- you’ll need it… tell you more soon. You won’t regret buying it. Promise.
